Fenway likes to run ... and run ... and run
A quick snipet of Fenway's daily run. We always let her go the last 20 yards and she loves it.

Welcome to the world ... Fenway!
Yes, that's right. We named our dog Fenway ... Finn for short. Lots of great pictures, movies and stories to follow about this lil girl. She's not Buddye the dog, but she's pretty damn amazing. I've always talked about getting a dog and this weekend I got to experience why they are so amazing. I'm just not sure why I wanted so long to get one. Even Retired Sorority Girl (who doesn't always love my random and rare spontaneous actions) loves the lil girl and thinks Fenway was an amazing idea.
Look out for more updates and potentially a blog all about Fenway and her adventures.

I don't have kids ... but I have cabin fever
Four days of snow ... probably the most snow and ice I've seen in Georgia. It's been pretty amazing in a bad way. Lucky for Retired Sorority Girl as she has spent it "stuck" in Las Vegas ... tough life for her.
A few things I've done:
- Watched every movie I own
- Worked 16 hour days (I hate it when everyone works from home)
- Sat on a year's worth of conference calls in three days -- I kinda want to reach through the phone and hurl snow balls at people
- Cooked anything I could find ... yes, I made cupcakes, cookies, pies, chili, pizza and a goulosh. I've eaten almost none of it.
- Been great b/c I"ve been so cabin fever crazy that I've spent hours in the gym
- Can't sleep because the power keeps turning off and on which means appliances keep going off and on
- Cleaned and washed every piece of clothes that we own
- Friended pretty much everyone I know on Facebook
And I won't go into any other OCD type details but I can promise you, my movie collection both off and online is now alpahtized and perfectly in order.
An stumbled upon lots of stuff on line - like this video:

Grumpy gets a new ticker
For the last couple of month, Grumpy has been having a few heart issues. Now, I won't go into detail because being Grumpy, he doesn't necessarily agree with anyone on the diagnosis, etc. Anywhoo, yesterday morning, he received a pacemaker to keep his ticker going.
Highlight of Grumpy's hospital visit was my night staying with him. Every time I've been in the hospital, the room has some sort of reclining chair that acts as a mattress. Well, the North Georgia Medical Center had a chair but I wouldn't call it a mattress chair. Let's just say it had been used a few times and the reclining feature wasn't exactly top notch. The other good news, a nurse came into the room every hour to check in on him and felt the need to wake me up too. I'd say it was a great bonding experience, but Grumpy was on drugs and I was just sitting in said chair.
Regardless, we both survived and lived to tell about it. Grumpy did great in the hospital and I"m excited to see him back on the running trail and just generally being Grumpy. Not sure what we would do without his daily grumpified POV on things.
Congrats on the new ticker, Grumpy! We are all proud of ya!
