Lone Survivor

It's rare that I get excited about a "real" movie ... in other words a movie that is based on a true story.  I do think that the studios are over-hyping the moving but I'm excited to see Lone Survivor.  I've read both of Marcus Luttrel's books as well as a few other transcripts about Operation Redwing.

If you haven't read the book, it's a must.  A truly fascinating and sad depiction of a SEAL team and the Special Forces that died in combat during Operation Redwing. It's a sad story, but a fascinating story about teams and brotherhood.  Plus, Peter Berg directed the movie and he's a home run waiting to happen.

In other news, we saw Anchorman 2 and while I wouldn't get it an F, I would probably give it a D+ at best. No one expected it to be amazing, but it really fails across the board.  You are better off watching all 70 Dodge commercials back-to-back ... they are much funnier.
